FLow Encountering Abrupt Topography (FLEAT)

The goal of the FLEAT experiment, funded by ONR, was to investigate the effect of abrupt topography on ocean currents and the downstream structures. The study focused on the island chain of Palau in the western Pacific which sits in the paths of the North Equatorial Current and Counter-Current.
