About

I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. I am interested in using observational and numerical methods to understand ocean turbulence and mixing.

In the Atmosphere and Ocean Dynamics Group, I am working on simulating turbulence at the interface between Antarctic ice shelves and the ocean to improve predictions of melt rates.

I recently completed my PhD at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography working in the Multiscale Ocean Dynamics group with Prof. Matthew Alford. This work focused on turbulence and upwelling driven by flow-topography interactions.
